DayZ got its February Update in the middle of last month (ver. 1.11). The update for the massively successful survival game introduced a new weapon and patched a slew of glitches, but it still broke a few items. However, Bohemia Interactive has published a hotfix for those issues today, putting the servers down for both console and PC versions of the game – the full patch notes for the DayZ March update (hotfix ver. 1.11.1) can be found below.
📢Dear Survivors,
Console servers will be taken down at 14:00 (CET) to deploy a hotfix. It will approximately take an hour.
PC will follow soon at 15:00 (CET), which is also projected to also take an hour or so. ✌️

What’s new in this update?
There’s nothing big this time. Since it’s just a hotfix, the developers are just addressing the bugs that are actually causing problems in DayZ. Whether or not you’ve experienced either of these problems, you’ll always need to upgrade the game, and you can see what’s being fixed below.
Patch Notes for the March DayZ Update
The entire patch notes for today’s DayZ Update are below; next to the patches, you’ll see the site that the update’s specific parts are on.
FIXED
Attachments will not spawn with weapons (PC and Console)
The battery could not be charged using the battery converter (PC and Console)
The flag pole was more refreshing than it was planned (restarting each server) (PC and Console)
Without a rail, the universal flashlight could be attached to handguards (PC and Console)
When using PSO optics, the player could not switch to VSS iron sights (PC and Console)
A client crash related to attachment slots on base building objects (Console)
Is this the last update for DayZ Update?
While this isn’t the end of DayZ patches, it’s doubtful that there will be many more large-scale ones in the future. Part of the main DayZ team has reportedly been reassigned to Bohemia projects, including work on Arma franchises. However, modding will continue to be popular in the game for a long time.
