The Asus ROG Phone line has become a leader in the gaming phone world. And official confirmation of the next name of the ROG model after a number of leakings and listings. As planned, Asus will skip the number 4, which is badly praised across Asia, and will release ROG 5 in late next month.
ROG Phone 5 Confirmation
In a Weibo post celebrating the three-year Asus-Tencent partnership, the name ROG Phone 5 was confirmed. The announcement itself shows clearly that we are probably going to see a Tencent ROG 5 edition.

The Snapdragon 888 chipset of Qualcomm and up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB are expected to be installed in the ROG 5. A massive 6.000 mAh battery with a charging capacity of 65 W and a 6.78″ AMOLED monitor with a refresh rate of 144 Hz is reported. We are apparently going to see at least two models of ROG 5, one with a subtle show on the back, and the other with a clean back.
