According to a new paywalled report from DigiTimes, longstanding Apple supplier TSMC has now officially begun off production of Apple’s next A15 chip for the iPhone 13 lineup, expected later in the second half of this year.

The A14 Bionic chip, first seen in the iPad Air and later in the iPhone 12, was the first Apple Processor to be manufactured utilizing the 5nm process. The A15 Bionic chip will continue to be based on the smaller process but will employ an updated version, which should result in increased performance and power efficiency.
